FAQs
I've never taken Reformer Pilates. Can I still take class?
Absolutely! You need to start with our Reformer Foundations class — This is a beginner-friendly, introductory session designed to help you feel confident on the equipment and learn the fundamentals. Completion of this class is required before joining any of our other Reformer classes.
What should I wear to class?
We suggest wearing comfortable, form-fitting activewear that allows you to move freely. Grip socks are mandatory for all Reformer classes to ensure safety and proper hygiene.
Can I take class if I’m pregnant?
Yes, as long as your doctor approves you to practice pilates! Our instructors are trained to safely modify exercises for prenatal clients. Please let your instructor know before class so we can best support you.
What if I have an injury or medical condition?
Your safety is our priority. Please share any injuries or medical conditions with your instructor before class. They will offer modifications or recommend the best class option for you. In some cases, private sessions may be suggested before joining group classes but just know that communication is key.
How old do I have to be to take class?
Participants must be at least 16 years old. Clients under 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign a waiver before their first class.
When should I arrive for class?
We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes early so you have time to check in, get settled, and prepare for class. For safety reasons, we don’t allow anyone to enter more than 5 minutes after class has started. If you arrive late, you may lose a class credit or be charged a late fee.
Do you have changing rooms or showers?
We do not have showers at the studio, but our restroom is fully stocked with clean, curated toiletries for a quick refresh after class.
Can I bring my pet?
We love animals, but only service animals are permitted inside the studio.
What is the waitlist and how does it work?
If a class is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist. If a spot opens up, everyone on the waitlist will get a text notification inviting them to book the spot. Be sure your notifications are turned on in your account so you don’t miss the alert.
How do I cancel or reschedule my class?
All cancellations and reschedules must be done through the app or booking website. To avoid losing your class credit or being charged a fee, please cancel at least 12 hours before the class start time. Late cancellations will result in the loss of a class credit, and no-shows will result in a loss of a class credit + a $15 no-show fee.
What happens if I miss class?
If you know you won’t be able to make it, please cancel at least 12 hours before class to avoid penalties. If you’re not checked in 5 minutes after class starts, your spot may be given to someone on the waitlist. Missed classes, or “no-shows,” result in the loss of a class credit and a $15 no show fee.
How far in advance can I book classes?
You can book classes up to 60 days in advance. If you’re planning a private group and need to book further out, please contact the studio directly.
What’s the difference between a package and a membership?
A package is a one-time purchase of a set number of classes, which must be used by the expiration date.
A membership includes a set number of classes each month, with automatic monthly payments. Memberships often come with added perks and benefits.
What is your filming policy?
Filming during class is allowed as long as it does not disrupt the class or interfere with your workout. Please be mindful of others, as some clients may prefer not to be recorded. If you plan to film, we suggest arriving early and choosing a corner spot.
